Recipe Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 8 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
  • 8 tbsp Vinegar, balsamic
  • 2 tbsp Ginger, ground
  • 6 tsp Sauce, rts, pepper, tabasco
  • 6 tsp Garlic, raw
  • 10 drumstick, with skin Chicken, dk meat, drumstk, meat only, enhanced, raw
  • 1/4 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
  • 1/2 cup Sesame seeds, whole, dried

1. Remove skin from drumsticks if desired. Layer drumsticks in bottom of slow cooker. 2. In a medium sauce pan combine brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic and hot sauce. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to let simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool another 5 minutes. Pour over chicken and turn chicken with tongs to coat well. 3. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8. 4. Before serving garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro.
