Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 4 large Pork Chops
  • 1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Yellow Onion
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Butter Milk
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Flour

1. Heat oil in large sauce pan over medium high heat. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Brown meat in oil about 5 minutes per side.

2. Transfer meat to a plate and cover with foil. Add onions to pan and cook about ten minutes, until onions are translucent. Add garlic and cook another minute. Stir in flour.

3. Mix in chicken broth, water and buttermilk. Stir well to combine, making sure you scrape any brown bits off of bottom of pan. Bring sauce to a boil then reduce to a simmer and let thicken.

4. Add pork chops back in and let cook another ten minutes in sauce, spooning sauce over meat.
