A simplified Chinese/American favorite!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 box Spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth, low fat,reduced sodium
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Potatoes, pureed
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 large Green Onion, white ends only, thinly sliced
  • 4 medium Pork Chops, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices


1. Cook spaghetti and set aside.

2. Whisk the 1/2 cup of chicken broth, sweet potato puree, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and cornstarch. Set aside.

3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the garlic, green onions, and pork. Cook until the garlic and onions become fragrant and pork begins to brown (4-5 minutes).

4. Add the soy sauce mixture and spaghetti to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cook 1-2 minutes more, stirring well until sauce thickens. Add remaining broth if the sauce becomes too thick. Serve immediately.
