Linguine with Asparagus and Pine Nuts

Everything tastes better with pine nuts. 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Linguine
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Pine Nuts
  • 1 dash Garlic Salt, more than a dash, to your taste
  • 2 pounds Asparagus, cut to 1
  • 1 cup Parmesan, shaved


1. Cook the pasta, drain, and return to pot.

2. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add the pine nuts and garlic, cook, stirring frequently until golden, 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Add the asparagus and cook, tossing occasionally until just tender 2-3 minutes.

4. Add the asparagus mixture to the pasta along with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and toss to combine. Sprinkle with parmesan before serving.
