Lemon Zest Brussel Sprouts

This is one of my favorite ways to make brussel sprouts, its easy, quick and really healthy as a side dish.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Brussel Sprouts
  • 1 large Lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil


1. Take 8-10 good size, washed brussel sprouts and slice them into small strands. If you have a slap chop at home, this is the perfect tool to use. It gets the perfect consistency without as much cutting. 2. After you have chopped the sprouts, put them in a saute´ pan over medium heat. 3. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and some fresh lemon juice to taste. 4. Sautee about 10-15 minutes until tender-crisp.
