Glazed Carrots and Peas

Easy dish that adds a little color and texture to any meal.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 large Carrots, sliced into thin pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon Corn Starch
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar


  1. Boil carrots in small amount of water for about 8 minutes. Drain and return to pan.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Add orange juice and butter.
  4. Stir over low heat until thickened.
  5. Prepare peas according to package being careful not to overcook.
  6. Combine with carrots.
