A simple BBQ Bison Meatball recipe!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Bison
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Oats, Uncooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Mustard, for BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar, for BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Ketchup, for BBQ Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder, for BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar, for BBQ Sauce


1. Stir together bison meat with onion, eggs, oats, seasoning, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce until well mixed. 2. Shape into small meatballs. Line two inches apart on uncreased baking sheet. Cook under broiler at 400* for about 30 minutes or until well browned. 3. Mix sauce ingredients and add meatballs to sauce. Place in crockpot on low to keep warm until ready to serve.
