Baked French Toast

If your house is like ours, everyone loves breakfast for dinner!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/2 loaf French Bread, (about 1/2 loaf) cut diagonally into 1 inch square
  • 3/4 cup Half and Half Cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla


  1. Butter a 9x13 baking dish. Arrange slices of bread in the bottom.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over bread, cover and refrigerate 6-8 hours.
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Heat until bubbling.
  4. Pour over bread slices and bake uncovered at 350 for about 40 minutes.
