Asian Pot Stickers with Citrus Soy Sauce

These simple and scrumptious pot stickers are the perfect addition to any Chinese dinner!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 24 large Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger
  • 1 1/2 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Starch
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil


1. Cook ground chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Add ginger. Mix well.

2. Add cabbage amd carrots. Cook another couple of minutes until vegetables are tender then add garlic and soy sauce and then remover from heat.

3. Lay out about 24 wonton wrappers.

4. In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon corn starch with 1/2 cup water.

5. Spoon a small amount, about 1/2 tablespoon of chicken and vegetable mixture into the center of the wrapper.

6. With a clean finger rub the corn starch and water paste around the edge of the wrapper. Fold wrapper together and crimp edges to help keep the wrapper closed.

7. Heat about two tablespoons sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each pot sticker about two minutes per side.

8. Meanwhile heat one cup soy sauce over medium heat in a small pot. Squeeze one lime and one lemon into soy sauce. Bring to a boil and cook for one minute stirring well.

9. Plate up pot stickers and serve citrus soy sauce for dipping.
