Corn Chowder with an extra touch of heat!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dried Thyme
  • 3 tablespoons Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeno
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 cups Potatoes
  • 1 small Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cups Swiss Cheese


1. In a large saucepan melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and red bell pepper. Cook about 5 minutes, until vegetables are tender.

2. Stir in flour. Add milk. Stir mixture until it comes to a boil.

3. Add remaining ingredients. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Top with cheese before serving.
