Corn Casserole

Delicious creamy comfort food.

1 can cream style corn, undrained
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup dried bell pepper, optional
1 can corn, undrained
1 box macaroni and cheese
1 teaspoon salt

Place all ingredients into 8x8 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

Add a pound of browned hamburger and top with cheese and you would have a fast and easy main dish.

I added Ritz crumbs to the top...jazzed it up a bit. For our meat lovin' family this was more of a side dish than a main course. But it was yummy!

I liked this recipe, but the crushed red peppers make it quite spicy, especially for my 3 year old. Next time I'll omit the peppers.
