2 cups broccoli, chopped 1/4 cups butter 1/3 cups flour 11/2 cups milk 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated 1/4 teaspoon salt
Steam broccoli until tender. In separate pan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Slowly add milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and salt and continue cooking and stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. Serve over steamed broccoli.
